Dan Zbytovsky

Dan was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. His father was an ameteur musician playing wedding gig’s with his band ‘Skyline’ and would eventually become Dan’s first teacher. After moving to BC, Dan started his own band, ‘Rated R’, with some friends from school. His formal training started in 1989 at Capilano University where he spent 3 years studying classical guitar followed by two more years of Composition at Vancouver Community College. 

Dan’s versatility and experience as a musician is obvious. He currently plays in 3 active bands in which he plays lead guitar, bass, keyboards, composes and sings lead vocals. As well as performing regularly as a classical guitarist around the lower mainland. Dan is also working on an original book of classical piano works transcribed for the guitar. 

Dan has been a professional musician and instructor for more than 20 years and takes great pride and enjoyment in sharing his talents with students.
